Friends of Eltham Well Hall Pleasaunce
The Pleasaunce is the best example of formal gardens owned by Greenwich Council. The house that used to be on the site was home to and visited by many famous people. The Railway Children story by former resident, Edith Nesbitt was written there.

St Mary's Community Centre
St Mary's Community Centre is sited in an old convent building sited in Eltham High Street. It is home to many groups that meet in the town centre and has rooms available for hire for suitable events.

Association of Commerce in Eltham (ACE)
The role of ACE is to achieve business success for Eltham Town Centre.

As part of this work ACE has developed a Town Centre web portal aimed at improving communication between the Town Centre businesses and their customers. The site went live on the 3rd January 2008 and will take a few months to get up to speed as businesses develop their information pages including news on current special offers, and customers subscribe to the site to get early warnings of bargains available.

Subscribe now in order to be notified regularly of current special offers in the Town Centre.

SE nine Magazine
SE nine is a magazine dedicated to the Eltham community.
The magazine is distributed free and is building up circulation around the whole of Eltham. Current readership is over 30,000 per month. People can pay for a postal delivery and many are doing this to support the magazine and ensure they get a copy.

There is an SE Nine web site which complements the magazine.

Greenwich Council
This site is maintained by Greenwicjh council and gives a lot of information about what the council does, who your councillors are and how you can interact with the council and your elected councillor.

Eltham Palace
Eltham Palace is famous throughout the country and wider world for its history and also as a prime art deco venue. Textile magnates Stephen and Virginia Courtauld built their glamorous Art Deco London showpiece in 1936, next to the remains of the medieval royal palace, which was originally Henry VIII’s boyhood home.

The Eltham Society
Founded in 1965 the society has flourished so that their membership is over 500.
The society has an Executive Council of 17 members each contributing their own specialities, all elected at their Annual General Meeting held in March.
The aims of the Society are enshrined in the motto: Preserving the past, Conserving the present, and Protecting the future.
