Eltham Well Hall Pleasaunce is a real Eltham gem. It is the foremost council owned formal garden in Greenwich and is full of history. Edith Nesbit wrote the railway children while she lived there and a plaque commemorating a lot of the historical residents now exists just inside the gates.
The Friends of Well Hall Pleasaunce was formed in 2006 and is working very hard to make it a real place of community value.
