Some of London’s finest old buildings, steeped in centuries of history, opened their doors to the public at Eltham’s annual ‘Be a Local Tourist Day’ on Sunday 19 October.

Shop French style on Sunday 26th October, between 10:00am – 4:00pm, when Brunomart’s market traders descend on Eltham, transforming Passey Place into a French style boulevard.

Greenwich Council is seeking a new tenant for the Tudor Barn, a 16th century detached and grade 2* listed building. The Tudor Barn is situated within the attractive Well Hall Pleasaunce, a landscaped garden of approximately four and a half hectares.

The revised planning application submitted by Eltham Renaissance for the redevelopment of the Grove Market site was refused by the Council's Planning Board which sat on 26 June. An appeal hearing is scheduled for 18 November at Woolwich Town Hall.

Greenwich Primary Care Trust is consulting the public on proposals to build a new community hospital in Passey Place Eltham.

An organisation by the name of EARN (Easy Access Retail Network) has been conducting a mystery shopper exercise across London smaller independant shops , and Eltham Town Centre shops have come top of their survey.
EARN are now offering the smaller independant shops in Eltham Town Centre access to their two million pound budget for training and development, in order to make their businesses more succesful.
This is yet another good shot in the arm for Eltham and part of a continuing trend of succesful development.
