The snow fell and the band played on. Thanks for a great sing along to the Greenwich Concert orchestra, The Greenwich Community Choir, The Eltham Choral Society and the hot wine and food supplied by the Park Tavern and the Old Post office pubs.

Eltham has everything you need to make this Christmas special. A range of national stores including Debenhams, Next and the multi-million pound refurbished Marks and Spencer, as well as a variety of independent shops where you can find that unusual Christmas gift.

The revised planning application submitted by Eltham Renaissance for the redevelopment of the Grove Market site was refused by the Council's Planning Board which sat on 26 June. An appeal hearing is scheduled for 18 November at Woolwich Town Hall.

The fabulous new Eltham Centre in Archery road finally opened its doors to the public on Monday 26 November.

An organisation by the name of EARN (Easy Access Retail Network) has been conducting a mystery shopper exercise across London smaller independant shops , and Eltham Town Centre shops have come top of their survey.
EARN are now offering the smaller independant shops in Eltham Town Centre access to their two million pound budget for training and development, in order to make their businesses more succesful.
This is yet another good shot in the arm for Eltham and part of a continuing trend of succesful development.
